Hati rasa tertarik nak kongsi pengalaman one of my fb friend, yang sekarang ceritanya dah trending kan? To be honest, i simpan niat untuk travel lebih dari 3 bulan kat satu tempat. Which means, i tinggal, kerja semua kat situ. Tapi tak tinggal selamanya. and my friend, Jay, dah buat. So why not kan. Insyaallah, satu hari nanti.
So, jom kita baca tips dari Salmi.

For those yg pm/dm/msg/whatsapp/email/tulis surat/hantar pigeon tanya pasal ‘how did I go travel and work in NZ?’ nindiaa jawapan dia. (sorry kalau takdan reply satu2, I’d try my best utk reply k)
-Ramai yg tanya ‘you pakai agent ka?’ or ‘you agent ka?’ the answer is ‘NO, Tidak, nehi kabi nehi’. Ni mmg p sendirian berhad dari awai sampaila dh selamat balik Malaysia.
-Maybe ramai yg dh taw, so utk yg taktaw lagi I apply Working Holiday Visa (WHV). Visa ni utk encourage young people (umoq 18-30 saja) utk travel ke NZ. At the same time boleh kerja utk support traveling cost. Maklumla segala mak nenek kt NZ ni mahai.
-WHV valid 6months ja for Malaysian but you can extend another 3months dgn syarat dh buat seasonal work for 3months. So total 9months max boleh stay kt NZ. (masa nk apply visa extension dia akan mintak 12 payslips so every week dpt gaji simpan k payslip tu kumpoi sampai 12)
-Visa ni boleh apply in January (date tak fix kena selalu check website) every year. Each year 1150 seats ja available. So seats are limited sapa cepat dia dapat. Visa ni apply online saja, dekat website NZ immigration. Fee dia $165. Ada syarat2 lain lagi boleh baca sendiri dkt website,

-For 2016/2017 the quota will open on 20 January 2016 at 10am NZ time (pukul 5pagi waktu Malaysia). So stay up la atau bgn awai utk apply.
-Awai2 lagi dh boleh register siap2 ID and password dkt website tu. Remember your ID and password sbb bila nk start apply kena login dulu. Buatla research byk2 before nk apply, fahamkan betoi2.
-4.30am dh boleh standby siap2 dpn pc, laptop, tab, ipad, mobile sbb page ni akan hang/error/unable to click due to high big traffic of the website. Guna semua gadget, who knows mobile page may load faster kan? Masa 2014 visas are out of grab within 30minutes!!!
-Make sure you prepare all the details, personal details, credit card (utk bayaq application), passport details type jgn ada salah nanti kena reject. Kena byk bersabar, byk refresh, tgn kena laju sbb mcm2 nk kena isi (byk page), jgn giveup. Taw! (I dulu refresh 2hours k, kesabaran menggunung bak Misty Mountains)
-Jangan buat keja halfway lepastu giveup. Jgn jd rabbit yg masuk race rehat tgh jln, jadilah seperti kura2. Sbb kdg2 if some of the 1150 applications are rejected they will release a news for replacements, browse website regularly k.
-Lepas dh buat payment $165 tu and dah jumpa word ‘congratulations’ maknanya dh berjaya la tu. Dh boleh rileks mkn koci sambil tggu email electronic visa from NZ immi. Yg tak berjaya takyah dok p teriak kt bantal, boleh try lagi January nextyear.
-Good news for you people now Air Asia dh bukak route KL-Auckland (all-in fares) from rm499!!! So tggu apa lagi, now everyone can fly.
-Don’t be afraid! Kalau hobbit petite berat less than 40kg ni pun boleh survive kt sana, you all pun for sure boleh. Serious you are more capable than you realize. You will never know how true that is until you’ve been thrown far out of your comfort zone. It is all depends on luck to grab the seats so I wish you GOODLUCK and enjoy New Zealand!!!
