So, it's your responsibility to make some research before start to make orders and the most important thing is you must follow some precaution steps to ensure that your information and money stay safe.

These tips would help you to have the best online shopping experience possible. Let me share with you 5 tips to SHOP SAFETY ON MALAYSIA ONLINE STORE.

  • With just a few clicks you can get everything you want and delivered to you. Yes it sounds fun and easier – without you ever leaving your home. But you must know before you start entering your card information online it can make you vulnerable to cyber criminals. As i mention, there are so many fake account and scammers nowadays. So you have to know the background of the seller or website. whether you can ask directly to the seller if whether their company is registered or not. If yes, ask for the SSM ( Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia ) number and check at the SSM counter or website.
  • Safeguard Your Devices - because using outdated software means, to put in perspective, is like leaving your front door unlocked at night. So, always update your devices to make sure they have the most recent security software, operating systems, programs and apps to make sure your devices always in safe and able to receive any latest information and so on.
  • Make sure you only enter network that is secured. Do not log on to unsecured wireless networks and most importantly with your mobile device. Maybe the most safety way is to log on and access to online shopping website using your own network. whether your own WIFI or Mobile Data.
  • Look for the lock! If you have ever noticed the closed padlock symbol on the web browser’s bar actually means that the site is secure. Only enter your card information on a site that is secure because your card number and information is and it's a must to keep it as a secret. No one can have it except you. Once your information leaked, it will be easy for them to use your details to negative and wrong purposes. So if you think that your personal information was invaded, please bring this matter to police and let them investigate.
  •  Credit cards and debit cards are one of the safest forms of payment online because these cards allow you to seek for refunds. So DON'T buy things online from sites that ask you to send cash through mail or money-writing service.
Thats all for today, i hope this entry can help you to be more careful and choose wisely. In addition, don't forget to compare the price from one and another website/seller. You may find the different prices according to the different website. BUT make sure to buy original and authentic items, not only choose based on the cheap price but also the authenticity.
Love,
Bie A.
